This Fall we have an awesome opportunity to hit the ground running in ministry. The day after students arrive is the first day of "Farm Fair". This is a huge annual event on the island of Kauai. At least 60,000 people will filter past our booth over the four day span of time. Last year the church was able to pray with over 50 people to receive Christ.
Please pray for this wonderful opportunity that God will give the Bible College students boldness to share their faith and that many people will come to Christ.

A Financial Perspective on Attending KBC
The increasing costs of gas prices as well as a struggling economy may have you wondering, “Can I afford to go to Hawaii for Bible College?” Let us shed a little light on an understandable concern for both students and parents. We have taken measures to provide a life-changing environment for students, and equipping them with the tools they will need, for a very affordable price.
Tuition for Kauai Bible College is $3300 per semester including room and board, books, and support from other people who desire to disciple/fellowship with you. If you break this down, then you are only spending $825 per month for everything. Keep in mind this includes living in one of the most beautiful and desirable places on the planet, receiving an outstanding education, and being equipped for missions and ministry, all for less than $30 a day!! If you add the average round trip airfare of $1000, you are still only paying about $36 a day!
Now lets look at the alternative, the average cost of living elsewhere. Including the airfare, we will see how far a budget of $1075 per month will get you. An average apartment or room rental situation will cost, and this is a very conservative estimate, $575 monthly, not including utilities. This leaves you with $500 for food, utilities, and school. Allowing only $200 per month for food, less that $7 a day, you better give up on Starbucks!! Now there is just $300 left, $10 a day and school hasn’t even been paid for!
The average two-year public school for in-state residents is about $2400 a year. A four-year public school goes to $6200, and for out of state it is $10,500! Going with the lowest possible scenario (in state two-year school) it will cost $200 per month and this does not include books. Again shooting very low, the cost of textbooks is around $800 per semester. If going to an out of state, private, or four-year school, you have greatly exceeded the budget needed for Kauai Bible College.
Overall you will be saving money, not spending more in coming to our campus in Kauai. You will be surrounded by a supportive group of likeminded Christians who desire to see you grow, produce fruit, and mature in your walk with the Lord. Mahalo for considering Kauai Bible College, we know it is a big step in deciding to come here, but we also know it is well worth it!

Calvary Chapel VBS Time Again
Even though school is out a few of the Bible College students are
working full time at VBS. It has been a great turn out so far, and a
number of the kids that were reached throughout the year's Comunity
outreach are attending.
